“You pierce my soul.  I am half agony half hope.”  Tender and melancholy, Anne Elliot endures in her love for Captain Wentworth even though they are separated by money and jealousy.  An intimate affair of a good heart, brought to life in part through Anne’s spoken thoughts and the beautiful sound of the cello.
